The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) exam requires a photograph of exactly 200×230 pixels, JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 50 KB. Uploading a photo outside these dimensions will cause an error on the SSC CGL online application form. This free tool automatically resizes and compresses your photo to SSC CGL specifications in seconds. No registration, no upload to a server — everything is processed entirely in your browser.

💡 Tips
SSC CGL requires a photo of 200×230 pixels under 50 KB, and a signature of 50×20 pixels under 20 KB, both in JPEG format with a white background.
The most common causes are the file exceeding 50 KB, dimensions not being exactly 200×230 pixels, or the format being PNG or WEBP instead of JPEG. SSC's portal validation is strict and rejects files outside these exact bounds.
SSC CGL accepts either, as long as the final image meets the 200×230 pixel, 50 KB, JPEG requirement with a plain white background. A clear, well-lit photo taken on a phone camera generally works better than a scanned printed photo.
